Cladding

I'm purchasing a flat and the Fire Risk Assessment report mentions limited cladding on the exterior of the undercroft which does not require further action. I know it says limited and does not require further action but I am so discouraged. Would you still buy the flat?

My understanding is that Fire Safety Reports after 2018 looked at whether the Cladding is unsafe. Is the report clear on the situation regarding the cladding.

Do you know if an EWS1 form has been completed - Cladding External Wall System (EWS) FAQs (rics.org)

Have you asked the seller regarding the situation with the cladding, not all cladding is bad.

In terms of buying a property unfortunately it always come with risks. A good solicitor/conveyancer should be highlighting the risks they come across to both you and also the mortgage company.
