            Hi all! I'm new here
I am selling a share of freehold flat (which I bought 2 years ago) and the sellers solicitor has noticed what they can a defect in the lease where the definition of the retained parts and common parts are confusing and confuse the right of way to the property, despite it later clarifying this in the lease! They basically asked for a DoV but we said no as our solicitor didn't think it was an issue. Therefore we have offered an absence of easement indemnity policy (even though our solicitor sees no issue at all with this, just trying to satisfy very picky solicitor) and for some reason the buyer's solicitor has sent it to her lender for approval!! So I am wondering if anyone has experience of this? Lender is Natwest, how long should we expect to wait for it to be approved by them? No one even understands why she decided to send to them! So aggravating and final point before we can exchange. Also on that same point, has anyone requested the funds from lender before hearing back about an approval of indemnity or something similar?
 Thanks 0 0
