Energy Supplier Rates from 1st October
Options
Following on from Ofgem publishing cap rate applicable from 1st October I am experiencing issues to get competitive rates.
E.on is my supplier - Despite Ofgem issuing rates - have not been advised Elec & Gas rates to be applied 1st October despite my requests. Tried to shop around but it seems no one is willing to declare what rate will be available for period 1st October - 31 December. Comparison sites seem also not to be providing information.
Does any one else have same experince? I am in "Southern" area so would appreciate any information and advice.

The price cap varies by region, there are tables and calculators on here:
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/what-are-the-price-cap-unit-rates-/
If you are on about what fixed rates will be on offer in that period, nobody is going to be able to tell you what fixed rates will be on offer in a weeks time (let alone 3 months time),, they are withdrawn and introduced at will and with no notice. Ones currently on offer will have priced in future price cap and wholesale changes anyway.2 -
They were only announced 6 days ago & there is a weekend/public holiday in there. So give them some time to digest the figures & work out their new pricing.Life in the slow lane1
