Morning all, it's raining today and only 11 degrees and brrr it feels cold !
After the stressful day yesterday I'm having a pottering about day. I do have the dry clothes from yesterday's wash to put away and I have to gee up Mr Fix It to sort out his holiday clothes, mine are already on the spare bed waiting to be packed or on hangers ready to transport over to the van.
TA et al thanks. Our normal monthly meds go electronically but these were extras and as our Lloyds pharmacy in the village has closed ( they were in a mess for months before that ) everyone uses the pharmacy in next village over and I think my script got lost when they were picked up by a man in a van. It could only happen to me !
Hope everyone has a good day today.
Take care all

Sorry me again. I forgot to welcome our new poster hr, hope you stay awhile.
Florence I hope everything goes as well as expected at the funeral today. My aunt was a member of the SA and they gave her a huge funeral when she passed away. She had gone to nurse a couple with TB then caught it herself and sadly died, she was only 17 😥

Afternoon all
Thanks for the welcome Hi's, I shall stay a while!
For tea last night we had a a$da sharwamma (sp) boxed, heat at home. Well I am no cook to be honest but this I can do! It was put in an ovenproof dish and heat! Broke the chicken up part way and it was good, I was surprised how much we got. I got some of those soft pittas (yum) and had sliced cucumber and Mash (!) anyway it was a use up tea but it was good and did 4 pittas. While the oven was on I put a few good sized pots in the have over the next few days, love them!
Off out meeting the girls after work so no cook/heat up for me!
Not much happening at work, waiting for the month end to turn over then plenty to do
Have good happy rest of the day to you all

Went to get my hair done this morning before the funeral. I was asked to arrive at 11am - funeral was being live streamed at 1 and then a thanks giving service at 3. I helped to sort out food then watched the streamed service plus made teas. I didn't see any of the second service as I was in the kitchen cooking. Got home just before 6. Then offered to go to hall for a food delivery so off we went again. Ready for bed now.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
