Morning folks, thanks for starting us off nmlc. The moon was so beautiful last night and this morning. Now it's both cloudy and light outside so no moon and probably no sun. Yesterday my cleaner came in the morning so I went out for breakfast and then the pool session. I spent a good part of the afternoon on the phone to a building society getting to the bottom of their error, the agent was really lovely and apologetic.I'm off shortly down to Glasgow for a dental hygienist appointment and perhaps a little bit of shopping.I hope that everyone is doing well. Happy Thursday to all.11

Morning All
Bright again this morning, the moon last night was spectacular. Looks like it will be another nice day, sadly I've not enough washing to do.
Glad you got your refund Florence and how nice of Mr F.
Welcome hr.
Hope you enjoyed your trip out TA.
Enjoy your trip to Glasgow Gers, the views should be stunning on your journey today.
Pleased to hear you got your rude one sorted out Ruby.
Poor Esther Snoozer, hope she's ok.
What a palaver Nanny, have a peaceful day today.
Met up with friends after work and had a good catch up, tried somewhere new for dinner which was quite good, may go again.
Have a good day, take care. XX12 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. Another lovely start here and still no rain forecast! We will pay for this nice spell I'm sure!
Welcome to hr, pleased to meet you. RUBY that rude client sounds as though she is never happy unless she has something to moan about. Silly woman, cutting her nose off to spite her face. SNOOZER I hope little Esther has suffered no ill effects after her tumble, and that you had an undisturbed sleep last night. NAN it's time your surgery got up to date and had scripts electronically transferred to the pharmacy to save patients making un-necessary trips between the two.
My little trip never happened yesterday! By the time my shopping had been delivered and put away black clouds were rolling across and I thought better of it. I should have believed the forecast of no rain as they kept on rolling and the sun came back out! So I took my new garden kneeler out the front and uprooted quite a lot of weeds and dead headed other stuff. It looks marginally better for now!
It's the usual Thursday clean of the kitchen and bathroom today and if the sun keeps shining I might have a sort out of the pots in the back garden, getting rid of dead looking stuff and cutting back others. I'm full of good intentions when I'm sitting comfortably indoors!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies or poorly loved ones. Take care all, be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -
Morning all.
Another early start as I have the dentist at 8.45am to re do a filling. A temporary filling has also come off so will see what she can do with that too.
Busy day day yesterday and ended up collecting 5 bags of unwanted towels from various people in preparation for DD's home birth in October. We'll have a look at them tomorrow and sort out the biggest ones then I can get them washed and put away. She has ordered a couple of large plastic tubs, which can then be used at the stables afterwards.
We are changing from bags to bins for our rubbish collection next week so I'm also delivering my old blue box, that was used for glass recycling, to a lady who wants to use it for some sort of project. It was going to go to the tip so I'd rather she had it.
Have taken some mince out of the freezer and will make spag bol later, with hopefully enough left over for another day.
Hope everyone's day goes well.12 -

Brrr it’s chilly here this morning I really struggled to get out of my warm bed, we are to expect rain and thunder storms today so I need to remember my coat.
Off to collect Rob today and take him to work we will hopefully be in the greenhouse where it is a bit warmer.
Not sure about dinner tonight will go and look in the freezer after this, but it might be something simple like egg and chips. Washing is up to date and house tidy.
DD is off to work at lunchtime so she will walk the dogs before she goes.
Snoozer I hope Esther is ok after her fall xx
Have good days all and take care xx12 -

Morning everyone and thank you for starting us off nmlc
Looks like being a nice sunny day here.
I am off to see a friend for coffee this morning.
Hope you all have a nice Thursday. xx10 -
Morning all, thanks nmlc.Hope Esther is better after her fall Snoozer.Nan I agree with TA, DS2 orders his prescription online, or I believe they have an app now too,he designated a pharmacy who text when it's ready, certainly saves an extra trip.We had a great afternoon out with friends yesterday.Lovely meal, bit pricey but we hardly ever eat out these days & haven't had a hol either.Much nattering ensued, then we went to sit outside a pub for a while after a stroll through Manchester, nearer to Victoria station for the train ride back in time for a late tea - well more of a snack really. DH is back at work today but enjoyed the day out so he may see the possibility of taking more time off to ease into retirement. He has paid the £10 to upgrade his bus pass so he can use the train as well in Gtr McrMy Oc..o order due later this morning, all the early slots had gone& I've tried to cut back a bit as things seem to be getting dearer every time I do a shop. I do try and rotate which supermarket I use to make use of their best offers. Speaking of sm, I watched the 1970s supermarket last night on CH. 5 - took me back to when we were first married, Smash or Angel delight anyone? & things we just take for granted now like the introduction of bar codes & scanning.Anyway enough waffle from me, time for another coffee before I tidy up. Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)12

Morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x
WFH today and then up to London tonight to stay in a budget hotel ready for the coach ride to Lancaster tomorrow
Sorry to hear of pharmacy/GP woes @nannywindow, just so frustrating
Hope Esther is doing okay @snoozer. My DD has two scars on her forehead from toddlerhood - one from crawling into a radiator and the other from falling off the bed. It's a rite of passage
Happy gardening @TravellingAbuela
Enjoy your coffee with friends @iris
I'll try to update from Lancashire/Cheshire en route!!

Welcome HR
Still trying to clear before our move.We had an early morning call from DMIL home on Monday she had a fall and taken to hospital.
She has broken her hip and was set for surgery yesterday but didn't make the list.Bless her she was confused when we went to see her. She is also being treated for a chest infection but the op should happen today. Begining to think there was a reason why our move didn't happen last week.
Hope everyone has a good day hugs to all who want them
