Hello, I am with Ovo for Electricity and Gas and have been with them and before them with SSE. I feel Ovo is expensive and thinking of switching over to Octopus. Does anyone know if I have to pay to leave Ovo?

    No. Unless you are on a fixed rate that doesnt expire in the next month and a bit. Are you? Some of these rates have exit fees.

    You also have to settle any debt though if you owe one.

    As an aside why do you think Ovo is expensive compared to Octopus? What unit rates are you currently being charged?

    you will have to pay up to your final bill, and if you're on a fix will have to pay an exit fee.
