Original policy makes no mention of a tracker
Current policy states that a tracker is required in a clause after the schedule certificate
The current policy also states there is no security device fitted in the statement of fact0 -
I have now submitted the claim and will await further communication from them.
All communication from One Call relating to the policy that was renewed in November 2022 refers to it as a 'renewal' despite the underwriter and the conditions changing significantly. They also state that the renewal is based on information provided by me to take out the original tracker. As stated previously the statement of fact from the current underwriter states 'no security device fitted'
I'm pretty certain the claim will be rejected but am hoping that I have enough evidence to argue it.
Thank you all for your help0 -
FSL, some insurance documents automatically list all endorsements which 'could' apply to a policy. You see to check if this definitely seems to apply to yours. Normally each endorsement is numbered and the relevant numbers then shown on your schedule and/or certificate

From the broker's perspective it is a renewal, you've agreed to stay with them for another year. The fact they rebroke the business and placed you with a different insurer doesn't change that fact.0

It looks like this is the case - the endorsement regarding the use of a tracker is not referenced on my schedule. I am so relieved!!!
Thank you again!!!0 -
That's really good news.0
