I stupidly paid money previously because I got a letter from bw legal. I got another one and I know now that I don't need to pay it as it's in Scotland.
As it's the same car and the same place can I get away with not paying?

Get away with? Why do you think it's getting away with something?zenmaster1080 said:I stupidly paid money previously because I got a letter from bw legal. I got another one and I know now that I don't need to pay it as it's in Scotland.

Just ignore. Of course! You are in Scotland.
We are so sad that you paid one!
However, the law on private parking is changing next year and you are then getting keeper liability for new PCNs. You and fellow drivers need to know this and read signs carefully on private land, going forward.
Ideally, avoid private car parks except when shopping at a supermarket, using a pub or hotel/gym, etc (but read signs).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
