Morning everyone just got in from a cleaning job having a quick cuppa and a sandwich then off to work I’m dreading it one day short and the stuff will be piling up this is when you don’t feel the benefit of a long weekend never mind only 185 days to go . Everyone seems to be off somewhere all off a sudden hope you all have a lovely time I’ve lost track of it all . It’s bright at the minute but it’s got to be showers all week . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Yes we are flying to Buenos Aires  and staying for 1 night then another flight to Ushia (The end of the world)  pick up the ship then  across Drakes Passage and then the fun begins 

onboard activities

• In-depth lectures and discussions hosted by experts on the Expedition Team 
• Full use of our Science Center, small library and advanced biological and geological equipment 
• Citizen Science programme where you can assist with ongoing scientific research 
• Photography tips and techniques for capturing landscape and wildlife from our onboard professional photographer 
• Use of ship's hot tubs, infinity pool, panoramic sauna, outdoor and indoor gyms, and running track 
• Informal gatherings with the crew for daily briefings 

landing activities

• Escorted landings with small expedition boats 
• Loan of boots, trekking poles and all equipment for activities 
• Complimentary wind- and water-resistant expedition jacket 
• Expedition photographers on hand to assist you 

Its something DH has wanted to do to be honest i am dreading the Drakes passage check it out on you tube i wish i hadn't DH wants to do the polar plunge and the camping on an iceberg . Its a once in a lifetime trip as for the house it will soon just be the inside to redecorate and maybe a new kitchen in a couple of years time but the garden has made a massive difference and something we enjoy using

Flipping heck!  That sounds really adventurous, well done you. I hope that your DH will enjoy it all, can you spectate?

TA, ah glad you enjoyed the programme. Some lovely scenery round there. I must remember it's on tonight too, need to record as we're off to the match.

Bella my son had a blow up hot tub but got rid as he found it very expensive to run.

Yesterday DH and I went back down to the food fest to look round the stalls, bought a few food bits, DH going overboard on baked goods, sweet treats etc. then had stomach ache this morning! Bumped into the friends we were meeting & arranged a time to go to a beer garden, so we had another good day.

DS got back from his Scottish road trip, they all enjoyed it, he was looking forward to his own bed though.

Now I need to do my Oc order, can't have a delivery tomorrow as we're off into M/cr so hope there's a slot on Thursday.

I need to ring a friend now, she's back in hospital. Take care all x

Wow Bella, that sounds mega, a true once in a lifetime experience, I feel quite jealous. Never mind, we are booking a short trip to Jersey next month, that will have to do.

I'm late posting today because I had Esther this morning (and Esben until 9.30, everyone else was out of the house by 8.00 am). She's cutting more teeth so was a bit tired and emotional at times but she had a decent nap so it wasn't too bad.

I saw my neighbour in the supermarket just before and she told me I looked tired, just what you want to hear!

I love Jersey we have family there so go a lot i can highly recommend lunch at the pearl museum/shop and a trip wine tasting at La Mare vineyard its a beautiful place if you want to splash out dinner there is excellent

I didn't post yesterday - wasn't feeling very well.
Very autumnal here this morning then it warmed & brightened up.
Nothing for DGs J to paint this week.
Heard from the landscapers - will be well into September now to do my front garden.
