Budgeting when moving pay frequencies

It sounds to me as if you're sitting pretty, then. All you've got to learn to do there is to add monthly in future, and ensure that you've got enough there to keep going until your next payday.Yes I do have savings :-) With my current weekly pay I run several accounts. Partly for budgeting reasons and partly to benefit from cashback and rewards- might as well get ever extra penny eh?
My bills accounts are all sitting with a month worth of bills in and I have over another month's worth in another account. I normally add to this every week and replenish the bills accounts as the money is spent.
One possible way of imposing a discipline here is to reserve one account for your ad hoc spending and replenish it with a week's money each week. Then when it's gone, it's gone and you've got nothing left until your next pseudopayday.datlex said:
It will be the self control to make the remaining money last over the month that will be the challenge :-)1
