Confused by EDF renewal letter!! ECO20:20
My EDF GoElectric98 fix ends at the end of this month.
On 16th August EDF sent me a renewal letter outlining several options . Here is the relevant section of the letter.

I can't work out why there are two different cost estimations for what seems to be the same ECO20:20 tariff with the same annual usage. £3,219.49 vs £3,336.84.
I called EDF on the 19th August asking for clarification. The person I spoke to couldn't help but said they would schedule a call back with their renewal team. No call back has been received.
I have also been messaging EDF via WhatsApp on an almost daily basis seeking clarification. Nobody has so far managed to provide any explanation.
I had already decided that I wanted to move to the ECO20:20 tariff earlier in the month after modelling various EV and other TOU tariffs from several suppliers.
But I would like to know why one cost prediction for ECO20:20 works out £117 cheaper over the year than the other. The section which shows the cheapest overall tariff mentions "ECO20:20, our cheapest fixed for your electricity" If there is a fixed version of ECO20:20 then it is something I would consider.
Has anyone else received a similar renewal letter and been able to figure out what it means?
Getting any sensible explanation out of EDF has so far eluded me!!!

Not a very helpful letter given none of those 3 options tell you the unit rates and standing charges tbh, that's the info that needs comparing.1

Sorry, I didn't include the 2nd page of the letter which shows the rates/SC's etc for the GoElectric Aug23 (my current tariff) and the ECO20:20 tariff. THe ECO20:20 tariff details provided show no early exit fee.
There is no detail of any other version of ECO20:20 anywhere in the letter.
I can get the GoElectric Sept24v2 rates from their website.0 -
Maybe because through the year the tariff cost can vary .Rates are predicted to be going down Oct 1 st then up again Jan 1 st .It does state that Eco 20/20 can go up and down0

What does it give you if you log into your EDF account and click on "change my tariff"? All rates should be shown there (current and available).0

This just in from EDF WhatsAppI have checked the letter which you have referred and do see that you are correct. The tariff amount is different with the same usage. This is required to be checked by the technical team. The reference number of this is 61183.It will take around 5working days time for the team to check this. Kindly allow us the time.
The new default ECO20:20 tariff will start from 1st September, so I suspect any answer from EDF will arrive after the start date of the new tariff.
I will be watching the smart meter with interest to record and photograph not only the closing registers, but to make sure that the peak and off peak times don't change. (TOU for our current GoElectic98 and the ECO20:20 tariffs are the same). I'll also look to see what the new rates are that they push through to the meter. No idea how long it takes for the meter to get updated though.0
