Hi
Can you put me down for £700 in September please?
I completely overshot my target in July while we were on holiday which left me disheartened for August but I'm back in the saddle for September
Thank you
Jo/VV
New Years Resolution (Jan 2023) was to take early retirement followed by a career change. Retired January 2024 - now working as a contractorAiming to be debt free and mortgage free. Currently on track for December 2030.6 -
Spent £14 today. Stocked up on some Soya milk at Morres as they actually had the cheap cartons for change! Also bought some Ricotta and garlic as found a recipe for courgette lasagne which will hopefully use up some of the allotment courgettes! Weather has been rubbish so DD and I baked some biscuits this afternoon. Didn't have caster sugar so just used the random sugars we had in the cupboard rather then going to the corner shop!

Hi Elsiepac
Please put me down for £200 again. Even if I don't always manage to stick to it I'm sure I do better than if I don't set a budget.
Incidentally, does anyone else buy dried soya mince? I usually get mine from Holland and Barrett but I've been into three different stores with no luck, and it's not in their online shop either.
thanks,
Dmna

@diminua - I bought some soya mince last Saturday at a new to me Indian supermarket so if you have any shops like that near you it might be worth trying them. Beware though, I find the vast array of interesting ingredients invariably tempts me into spending money so keep tight hold of your purse!8

I've fallen at the first hurdle by being beguiled by delicious food in the supermarket and have spent a horrendous £14.75 in M*rks on apricot and fig rye bread, kimchi, sauerkraut, olives, 4x milk and baked beans. It doesn't seem much for the money and I've eaten quite a lot of it already, oh well, must plan better I think. Tomorrow's another day.
Total so far £14.75/£120 and average daily spend £14.75."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."
