Fix now or wait til Oct (new price cap)?

Hi,
My 2yr fixed deal with Eon ends Sept 25th, and they’ve offered me a new 1year fix based on the current price cap. Obviously the price cap reduces in Oct.
Should I take the current fix offered or do you think there might be any better deals offered nearer to the new price cap in Oct?
(My DD is likely to increase over £50+ a month, so I really need to try to get the best deal possible for me to keep my head above water).
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

    It's a gamble either way.

But I would.wait given the Cornwall Insight predictions for Q1/2/3/4 next year.

But better still hopefully some decent time of use tariffs will pop up from other suppliers other than Octopus now many are using their Kraken system.
