Morning everyone and thank you for starting us off Gers
The sun is shining here, but it's certainly turning cooler.
I need to get in the garden and continue tidying everything and cutting back.
Hope you all have a good day. xx11 -
Morning allUp bright and early this morning as I forgot to turn my work alarm off grrrrrrrOh well onwards and upwards. Off to large shopping centre this morning to see if there are any bargains to be snaffled in the sales. I want a few summery bits to put away for a big holiday in February. Apart from that I've some washing to put out before I go. Looks to be a lovely day here in Kent althought the temperatures are getting lower now. Felt quite chilly indoors after a rain storm late yesterday afternoon.Have a good day all x10

Morning All
Quick one from me as I want to get to work early - too much to do!
Weekend washing all dried outside and put away, by the time I had finished all my jobs the sun had gone in so I had to sit inside to finish my book.
No bank holiday here but if you do have one, hope you enjoy it.
Take care. XX12 -
Morning all. Gers thanks for starting us off.
Dad was very subdued yesterday and I think he only came over because he needed a haircut and to drop off birthday cards for DGS and Mr Fix It for later this week, maybe I'm wrong 🤔
I didn't sleep very well last night because of several bouts of coughing so now I'm up early and nursing a cup of tea. I'll be like a wet rag today and I'll have to go at a snails pace, there's not much going on anyway.
Tea tonight will be lo roast dinner from yesterday.
Hope everyone has a good day
Take care all, hugs to the poorly ones, their family members and pets. Hello to the MIA's and those who read but don't post.
nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently13 -
There's a watery blue sky outside so I'm hoping for sunshine for at least part of the day. My family in northern QLD are going to FaceTime me in a couple of hours, it'll be slightly chaotic. 😀
Once I've done that and the weekly banking I'll head out. I hope that everyone is doing fine. Nan - perhaps a wee afternoon snooze will happen.Happy Monday to all.13 -
Good morning, it's a chilly start here, but dry.
We aren't doing much today , nothing planned anyway.
I'm hoping to get some washing dry outside, tried yesterday but the inevitable rain stopped that idea.
Hope you find something in the sales Chrisca, I've been doing similar for our trip to Oz in December.
Sorry to read that you had a bad night Nanny, miserable isn't it. Hope you manage a nap later.
I don't like posting on my phone TA, I make too many mistakes.
Hope everybody has as good a day as they can - take care folks.

Hope you all have a good day
I’m v slow as my hip is worsening quickly ,hopefully the urgent waiting list won’t be as long as 6 months !
need to cut more of the grass today ,it’s a battery lawnmower so just like pushing a zimmer frame!
has taken three attempts but it’s got so long the battery goes faster .
still plodding on ,everything takes so much longer
sunny again in my part of East Anglia but a definite nip in the air .14 -
Morning all.
Another early start for me; one cup of tea down so far and some emails dealt with. I'll take a cup up to DH soon and remind him we're going out in a couple of hours. We're meeting DD and family at a forest area about 30 mins drive away so will have a light lunch there.
We unexpectedly agreed to buy DH a new car yesterday, after I bumped into a good friend at the SM and she then showed me their new purchase. DH had been thinking of exchanging his so we popped along to take a look and ended up putting down a deposit on a 3 year old one that we liked. Just need to shuffle some money around now so that it's in the right place for when we need to pay. After that it will be belt tightening time for a while.
Because we were out for a lot of the day yesterday I didn't get as much done around the house as I'd planned so I'll have to fit things in when I can now. For some reason we have a busy week ahead.
Have a good BH Monday everyone, apart from the Scottish contingent14 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. A lovely start and weatherman says it should last! Wot - no rain!!
Sausage fingers not needed today as the tv and broadband came back on through the night. 5 days is a long outage. Fortunately I only had 1 day of it. Virgin customers affected have been treated with the usual contempt, no apologies via text or email.
So now it's back on my first job was ordering some of my meds and next I want to do an Ocado order and hope I can get a delivery slot midweek. The fruit bowl is empty and the veg box doesn't look much better, not to mention the nearly empty fridge. Fortunately, as usual, the freezers are rammed so I won't starve!
I got all the washing dry indoors yesterday as I didn't want to play hokey cokey with the showers. I now have rather a large ironing pile but as it's mostly t shirts, jeans and bedding it shouldn't take long to get through it. Maybe later!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"13 -
