Hi
I have seen the successful appeals thread but can't find anything recent for appealing a G24 ticket. I overstayed by an hour. Image below, please advise.
Many thanks.

Is there some handy "reply to the retailer" standard email template available that I can use please?
Thanks.0 -
No, we do not suggest use of a template letter to retailers (or similar) as those reading it will see it is a template and file it in the big grey filing cabinet under WPB. Just write it in your own words as it will come across as an honest, from the heart explanation of how you feel badly treated and the process has made you decide not to use the facilities at that location ever again!3

Update:
My email is below. I emailed Currys, Lidl, B&M, and Sports direct.
Lidl say they can't do anything.
B&M want a receipt, which I don't have, but they have forwarded my request onto G24.
No response from Currys, and SD so far.
My email:
Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing regarding a Parking charge notice (000000000000) received whilst parking at the Cheetham Hill Retail Park in Manchester on 09th of August 2023. This ‘notice’ was issued by G24.
I have been a customer of yours and have visited this store many, many times before over many years. However on this day it was particularly more difficult to park, find a space, shop and exit within two hours. Furthermore, I am a pensioner and things take a little longer for me to do. For example, navigating human traffic within and around the store. Furthermore my car is also on its way out and requires care whilst driving.
By the time I had got parked, done my shopping and got the car going I had overstayed – my arrival was 12:37 and I departed at 15:19 – a total time of 2 hours and 42 minutes. For this additional time taken I have been charged £100, or reduced to £60 if I accept liability and pay – which I do not, and will not do. To say the least, this is an inordinate charge for parking 42 minutes after a free period.
In this occurrence, where there is traffic and motor vehicle problems, I do not see it unreasonable to extend parking times to allow such circumstances.
I understand you will say that G24 are independent operators of your car park, but your name and reputation are why I visited your store that day.
I have no intention of paying the ‘notice’, but as a goodwill gesture I would appreciate it if you could contact G24 and request on my behalf that this ‘fine’ is quashed.
I would have also contacted your Store Manager at the store direct but no address is available. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely

Letters/emails are easily ignored or discarded.
Nothing beats visiting the store and looking the manager in the eye.
Very difficult for him/her to refuse to help and almost impossible to ignore you.1 -
What do I say to them? I mean they'll just say we can't do anything, so how do I convince them?0

Well done. For your convenience, and to wrap things up, in a few days go to G24 website as if to pay and make sure it says nil or cancelled, take a screen shot to show you beat a scammer, frame it and hang in your...hmm.. convenience.1
