How early do you have to be for the car boot sale?

Chorleywood Car Boot sale is very good but very popular. This morning we arrived at 6.45 and though the field was not full, I was only just in time to pick up two clothes rails from their 'hire shop' before it was emptied out. Other people had come a little later and were having to miserably display their clothes in piles on the ground - which has happened to us in the past.

I wasn’t aware that some car boots had a hire shops. Aren’t people better off supplying their own display racks?Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £50,280.072

I’ve never got there that early. I used to aim for about 8. I’ve always taken along whatever I need to display things properly - the car boot I attended didn’t have a hire shop. I suspect that would be fairly unusual. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -

We have had collapsible clothes rails in the past, but it is a windy field and they invariably blew over. Luckily the organisers have a (limited) number of strong heavy rails available to hire very cheaply - if you get there in time!
