List of Savings Accounts

Hi all,
I need a couple of savings accounts (easy access ISA and easy access savings), but can't afford any hard credit checks as me and my OH are planning to buy a house some time in the next year.
Do any savings accounts do hard credit checks and is there a list somewhere that says if they do or not? I've searched and couldn't find anything.
Thanks x

Credit checks are for credit, not savings !
You may have to go through identity checks which can be a PITA and involve photographing your passport or driving licence and uploading those and a selfie.
I had that fun with Beehive last week.1 -
The only way you'd risk a hard search is by opening a current account as a prerequisite of a savings account. There are plenty of straightforward savings options that will just require a identity check (not seen by lenders). You should be informed during the application if a credit search is to be performed.

One credit check is unlikely to have any effect on a mortgage application - unless there are many other checks. And, I believer lenders ignore those older than 6 months.Boogiebunneh said:

There will be no hard credit checks for savings accounts, so you don't need to worry.0

Thank you so much everyone. I know I'm a complete newbie to this as I've not had anything worth saving before!

ISAs etc. are all on there too. Always choose to sort by Rate Order.1
