Santander 123 to Edge current + Edge Saver

Wondering if anyone can clarify/confirm? I recently got my annual 123 statement and it is just a breakeven situation so ...
I'm planning on changing the joint account 123 to a joint Edge Current Account, basically just changing the name and everything else (ac number etc etc) remains the same as I understand it. Then open an Edge Saver also jointly.
Is this fairly straightforward, as simple as doing the above for a single account holder?
Also, would that mean I can have £8k in the Edge Saver earning the 7% AER?
Thanks

Easy to do from within the app. Apply for the edge current account and the app gives you the choice to change an existing account to it.t33 said:Wondering if anyone can clarify/confirm? Edge saver accounts are only available as solo accounts, but as you will have a joint current account you can both have a saver account.
