Objecting Deputyship. Waiting over 3 months now.

I filed an objection to a Deputyship that my sister obtained without listing me as a relevant person to inform on the application. She may not have declared that she was insolvent at the time; basically, she did it very sneakily. Anyhow, I filled in all the relevant forms following legal advice. The Courts of Protection have acknowledged receipt of these and have passed them on to the courts. Over 3 months have passed with weekly emails to the courts for updates, receiving the same old replies. No dates or progress reports have been provided other than that it's been submitted to the Courts. Has anyone had experience with an objection to the Courts of Protection? This wait is ridiculous.

The court of protection is clogged up with applications. Your sister’s deputy ship application and your objection are probably still sitting in a queue waiting to be looked at. The process was taking over 12 months for straightforward ones with no concerns. Harassing them every week isn’t going to get you anywhere. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
My mother was 13 months into a non complicated deputyship application but sadly my aunt died before it was even issued. As above, the system is clogged up and VERY slow.0
