Incident was 20/03/2023
date of sending PCN 21/08/2023
To be fair if I pay it within 14 days its only £15 but wondering if an appeal would be valid? Is there a limitation period?
Thanks

Which parking firm?
is the vehicle your own, or a hire/lease vehicle?
Can be appealed successfully.Limitation period - 6 years for a parking charge, 6 months for a penalty charge. How is your letter headed? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Dead easy. You can't lose as long as you don't say who was driving.
Just send an appeal as the registered keeper saying they are too late for keeper liability and Airport land isn't relevant land anyway. The driver will not be named but the signage and lack of paypoint/kiosk or barrier at Gatwick is well-reported as unfair sharp practice and they will lose at POPLA, so get lost.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You've left your full name and your vehicle's registration mark clearly visible in that Notice you have shown us.2

I never understand fools and their money. Why even contemplate paying into the scam? The difference between intelligence and stupidity is... intelligence has its limits.2 -
Can you show a picture of the PCN please?
I want to show the Government in my response to the current DLUHC 'call for evidence' that NCP are still content to receive £15.
Cover your name & address & VRM & PCN number but nit the dates please, it needs to be clearly current evidence.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
