Harvey Water Softeners - Real Prices

I was thinking of installing a water softener in my area and a Harvey representative came to my home. He quoted as follows:

Harvey Arc water softener Wifi enabled 1000 L: £1433.29
Harvey Arc installation Pack 3: £416.63
Harvey complete Twit-Lock filter system: £254.96
Quarter turn tap chrome: free
Instalm complimentary arc mini curve salt block: free

Total with VAT: £2,399.86

I was hesitant because the price is really high, so he discounted it to £2,219

Is it worth it? I am based in North West London

I'm trying to look for troubleshooting but found this so I'll chime in even though it's late..do not get a Harvey from the OEM. My HV4 died after 3 years and is out of any warranty so all repairs are out of pocket. If you get it from other vendors it'll be 10 years for parts and 2 years labour.

That is a shocking price for a simple piece of equipment that's straightforward to install. A short while ago I had a Monarch softener installed. The softener was about £650 and the plumber charged £150 to fit it.

Harveys, of course, will try to persuade their product and fitting are superior. In reality they are not.

Might not be comparing oranges with oranges but doesn't look so different. We have one, been happy with it
