Hi,
I usually qualify for tax-free childcare. I am due to inherit money from my parents within this tax year (>100k).

Does inheritance count as taxable income ie am i no longer elegible?
Will I lose existing funds that I have paid in and not used yet?
Thank you

The inheritance is treated as capital, but any income you earn from it (interest or dividends) will increase your annual income.1
