I did come here when I got the CST one. That's why I contacted pals and my local MP. I also contacted Euro Car Parks with a SAR but they refused to send me info because they wouldn't accept my bank statement as proof of my identity, they said I needed to send proof of ownership of my car.

I've had a permit since May 2022 and they still gave me a ticket with it so shouldn't I keep it?

Ah, yes but please make it clear in the defence with an introductory chronology:

- from 2014 until April 2020 you paid by app;

- COVID lockdown 2020-2021 restrictions were lifted and NHS staff did not have to pay, yet you were all still getting occasional PCNs;

- Early 2022 pad by app again on a daily basis per shift, until May 2022 when ... blah blah re the Permit.  You can also state that, at the time of litigation this Claimant KNEW you were a permitted staff member throughout, because of the daily app payment record going back years and the 2022 permit application.

I've added the chronology or events and included they have known I was staff since 2021 when we were both in contract with PALS. 

In work tonight so I'll be on a mission to get maternity and other staff involved with going to the papers. 

One question, should I send the Defence via my personal or NHS email account?

We also have regular 'Ask to CEO' teams chats so I'm going to jump on there and ask about why they are allowing Euro Car Parks to prey on staff.

I suppose it depends whether or not you are allowed to use your work account for personal purposes and if anybody else has access to your account.  I don't think it makes any difference to your defence either way and I would be minded to use my personal account.

As it is a claim against you, personally, I would advise to use your own personal email address. Do you have access to your work email when not at work?

This is a great fightback.  And you are pushing against the weakest 'parking case solicitor' firm you could be dealing with, which is why I suggest you and the other poster have a punt at tacking a Counterclaim under your defence.

I suspect they won't defend it as IMHO, CST are just a glorified DR Plus arm and hopefully aren't bright enough to cope with defending a CC.  You could win that bit by default within a month and make some money.
