Kitchen Sales - wait til next?

We're in the market to DIY ourselves a new kitchen. Thinking to go for either IKEA or Wickes and wary there'll be sales on every few months which I want to take advantage of. Not in any particular rush but looking to do within the next 6mo.
My question is, is it worth stocking up from the next sale/now, or unlikely to matter if we wait until January sales? Is stuff likely to go up in price between now and then or are kitchens generally quite stable?
Appreciate this is a complete crystal ball question but maybe there's someone who's tracked this stuff who might have an inkling. It seems to be you get better discounts if you buy the whole kitchen in one go e.g. minimum spend to get extra 10% off.
Cheers!

Ikea don't do kitchen sales, so you'll be waiting a while. They are, historically speaking, incredibly good value for money.

How determined are you on design?
I got the heads up on a business being taken over selling off stock - unfortunately I couldn't take advantage at the time.
There used to be ex display deals too. That does happen with plumbing still. And deals from plumbing supply shops.
Summer is better for this as most people do refurbs autumn and spring.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
