Energy Cap & prices Residential Mobile Homes

I am a bit fed up with reading in the press about energy caps and cap on price per kWh. As our electric is supplied through the site owner it is a commercial contract subject to higher kWh. From October 2022 has been fluctuating up to 45p per unit. This quarter 39p kWh. As we are domestic customers there is no support if you are working. Many residents are elderly as well. Local MP has forwarded this issue to Govt not sure that anything will happen. Really need some protection as domestic customers, as we can be charged what ever the utility company wants. Site owner is up front and we see the bills he receives. Ofgem didn’t seem that interested either.

As fed up as you are you must realise you are not on a domestic supply for reasons of your own choosing.

The park you are on will get the best business deal they can at the time and cannot make a profit on the energy but depending when that fix ends and the new on starts mean potentially higher prices for a period.
