Last minute getaway in September - avoiding wildfires?

I'll jump right in here and say of course you can't predict wildfires or arson.

Want to book a week away in September, Greece/Turkey/Cyprus looks nicest and seems to have better weather but also seem to be the hardest hit with wildfires.

Mostly just looking for advice on if you'd dodge those areas or if the lower temps in a month lessen the risk?
