Fixed tariffs - will they be higher or lower after the Ofgem Price Cap announcement on Friday?

Will suppliers change the fixed rates they offering after the price cap announcement tomorrow? If they do, do you think that the fixed rates they will offer will be higher or lower than the fixes they are currently offering?

Nobody knows, but as all fixed rates have 14 days cooling off periods there is nothing stopping you taking one now and seeing what happens in a few days.2

I suspect there will be a few released lower given the Cornwall insights figures for Q1/2/3/4 next year.0
