Switching to Natwest

Please excuse my ignorance, I have read the eligibility notes on the MSE site, re switching to Natwest and not being the brightest star in the sky, I am a little confused with the wording, does it mean you cannot have been a Natwest customer since 2017? I switched from Natwest to Nationwide earlier this year, for the switch bonus and because age premium on the ins was much cheaper. I have an account with HSBC which has very little in, which I switched to last year for the bonus ( this is a floating account not my main) so can I switch that to Natwest and get the bonus?

Read the NatWest page https://www.natwest.com/current-accounts.html and the T&Cs linked from it rather than the MSE precis but basically you can get the bribe if you haven't received a bonus since 2017.2

If you have had bank accounts with any of NatWest, RBS and Ulster Bank since 2017 it's no problem as long as you didn't receive a switching bonus when you opened them ...

Good luck.
Sorry Harold how do you mean? Surely that suggestion is correct that you could have switched after February and would have got the incentive, but any more switches wouldn't be eligible. If you switched but didn't receive the incentive for some reason you would eligible to switch to this account and get the incentive.0 -
Hi team, having recently successfully gained £200 by switching an old unused Lloyds current acc to NATWEST, I was wandering whether I could now switch it from NATWEST to RBS and get a further £200?

In practice you'll probably get it once per brand - I wouldn't be inclined to make this very obvious tho (as switching from Natwest to RBS might!).It's pretty trivial getting a donor account somewhere else.0

Money made for Mrs B via Bank Switching in 2023: £1,275 (target £1,250) - TARGET HIT!!0 -
Good points, thanks guys, Halifax first thing tomorrow, then RBS. I’ll post how I get on.2

I received my RBS and NatWest switching bonuses at basically the same time (four minutes apart).
There must be some crossover of information/processes so I’d be wary of switching between the two.0 -
Is it still the case you can switch to/from Ulster bank?0
