Confused with a whole bunch of stuff even after reading the threads.

I am a bit confused with everything and apologise if I am asking something that has already been answered. I am autistic and this sometimes makes it hard for me to process information.

I received a PCN from GXS for parking at Quayside in Shoreham Port. I put in the wrong registration; I put in another vehicle I have’s registration number. I appealed it using a template from Parking Mate and included evidence that a ticket was purchased but it was the wrong registration. During the IAS appeal, I tried to appeal under the Equality Act because I read on the CAB website that this warrants consideration. I have not addressed whether I was the driver or keeper though. 

Assuming that I would receive a NTK, I have not done anything further while waiting to receive this. On the 15th of August I received a final reminder notice from GXS for a sum of £160. This is where I am confused:

 

• The letter was dated 4th August but I do not know why I received it on the 15th August. Also I am confused why there isn’t proof of postage considering the letter gives me 7 days to pay.
• The letter states a NTK was sent, but it didn’t include a date, which made me think that they may not have sent this; hence why they left it blank.
• I couldn’t access the PCN to pay for it online.
• I sent GSX an email asking why I was not sent a NTK and they replied on the 16th saying that it has been sent to debt collectors, with photos of the PCN on the vehicle. I replied saying that I thought the paper attached to a vehicle is a PCN and a Notice to Keeper is a letter I receive in the post. They have not replied, again confused why the final reminder letter took so long to come but they were able to organise the debt collector so quickly. Also I don’t understand why a PCN and a NTK is the same thing at GXS but differs with other PCNs.
• I received my first letter from TRACE debt recovery on Saturday saying I owe £170. Again so confused why this is so speedy.

Anyways, I wanted to the NTK as I was planning to pay for it. Although I do not agree with the charge. This does not help with my mental health; I ended up having a meltdown. I don’t know how much harassment I can endure from the debt company, but I don’t want to pay £170 and I don’t know what to do.

I am about to request a SAR; when requesting this will it indicate proof of postage? 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You need to blank the PCN number and your reg plate out of that, sharpish.

Just ignore GXS and the tedious Trace letters.

Why are you planning on doing anything? 

Why a SAR if you have all the letters? Settle down and ignore it.

@la531983 Thank you for telling me. 

@Coupon-mad I wanted to do something so that I could speed up the process of being harrassed or have something to concentrate on whilst I am being harrassed, to take the edge off the process. 

I didn't receive a NTK, I only have the paper they stuck on the vehicle and the final reminder letter. I thought I needed an NTK before they sent the final reminder letter because they stated in this letter that an NTK was received. Also, I was told by GXS if I lost the formal appeal I would pay £100 instead of £60, so I don't understand why GXS asks for £160 in the final reminder.

As you have presumably given your name and address  in the appeal re NtD they do not need to apply for RK details from the DVLA  -  they have either the driver or RK details depending on the wording contained in the appeal.

You can't.  Let them send it to Trace.

Their letters are a laugh.  COLLECT THEM!
