Reputable Shiply couriers

It seems many of us use Shiply as a logistics solution for collecting/delivering goods on eBay, and many threads here highlight that Shiply is simply a middleman that takes no responsibility for lost items, and merely acts as a way for customers and couriers to do business.

Therefore instead of reviewing the legitimacy of Shiply, I was wondering if anyone here had past experiences with particular couriers on Shiply and could vouch for them?

The names that often crop up quickly when requesting a quote are: 

• Smooth_And_Easy
• Good_Fellas
• Simply_The_Best
• SundaysDeliveries4u
• Cidor

Whilst these all have excellent (95%+ positive) reviews on Shiply, we aren't to know the integrity of these reviews, especially as Shiply will automatically leave a positive review for couriers where a customer does not pro-actively leave a review.

Any feedback regarding Shiply is welcome (and also AnyVan, but they don't seem as popular) and I'll update this post accordingly.

I suspect the idea of lists or actual companies might be better as a local thing. Companies or  individual drivers might be too local to crop up often enough to be of any meaningful use if done Nationally,.

Same as anything with feedback and recommendations.  Good feedback/reviews are most likely spam and bad ones are either
people with a grudge or competitors trying to beat the opposition.

As I understand it, the majority of the names in the OPs list are all fronts for the same national firm, Proovia Delivery. I have used them with success, but they are a budget operation, and typically tranship and hold the item overnight in their depot hub. Certainly not a small-scale point-to-point man with van service.
