Would you share your Wi-Fi with your neighbour?

A survey found that 59% of people wouldn't be willing to share their Wi-Fi with their neighbour, whereas 41% of respondents were more trusting.
Where do you stand on the matter? Have you ever shared it in the past, say with a neighbour you're close to?

We used our neighbours Wi-Fi for a few weeks after moving in and waiting for ours to be setup, which saved us a lot of hassle. Only seems fair for me to return the favour if put in the same situation.0

Nope.I share with visiting friends and family but no way with neighbours.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0

We have a holiday home in Spain which we visit around 6 or 7 times a year. Our neighbour there let's us use her Wi-Fi for free when we visit.0

No, we have a (throttled) guest network for visitors, and one for our use which is speedier. Both are password protected.0

Not a chance, far to many security implications0

Totally depends on circumstances, surely.A nice elderly neighb living on their own and using a tablet to keep in touch with their family, why on earth not. There's such a person near us, but alas not close enough to share WiFi.Or, a friendly neighbouring family who you get on really well with and consider as friends, both wishing to save a few £uid each month - why not? Provided agreements in place - no mick-taking - and that the bandwidth will easily cover each family's requirements.I can foresee problems with that last arrangement as soon as the scrolling circle appears, tho'.0

IIRC from previous discussions its likely to be a breech of the T&Cs of your contract1
