Things to look out for if you HIU is over locking when you are not using heating or hot water.
1.Check your heat meter reading on the hiu... Usually in kilowatts
2.If the room the HIU is in (cupboard) unusually warm.
3.if you hear flow of water even with hot water and heating off.
Basically it means the valve that is supposed to stop the flow when not in use has failed and you have flow circulation in your system which will increase your bill.
