Car insurance policies after claims
I have two insurance policies one my car one company car, a named driver on company car had two claims, one a blow out which caused a one car crash and one a partial fault with another car.
Question is, who declares claims when applying for new insurance.
I’m also named driver of husbands car but when he apples should he make them aware of the accidents on my policy by the other driver?
I get the existing policy will go up as claimed but where do I stand with my personal car and husbands as names
Hope that makes sense- any help appreciated - Google very conflicting

You have to answer the questions honestly when applying for new insurance. If it asks you if you or a named driver have had any claims , then you have to tell them. If it asks if you have had any claims, that might be a different answer. It might ask you if you've had any claims on vehicles you own. There seems to be variations between insurers.
Would have thought the company car policy would be in the companies name? I could be wrong.
I wouldn't expect that your husband should make them aware that a named driver on your policy has made a claim - i think it would normally be if you have made a claim when you go on as a named driver.1 -
Yes, you should be making all 3 policies aware of your driving history as they request. For your main policy and named policy i have seen no variation between insurers wanting the information, except some may want 5 years history, others 3 years.
On your own policy you declare your driving history in the main set of questions
When your husband fills in the named driver details for his policy he will be asked there for your history.
Not done company car insurance for a long while, but if they ask for your history then you must declare it. What do your company ask you to confirm each year?
There is also no such thing as a partial fault, it is either non fault or fault (which is what your partial fault will be)1 -
You have to answer all questions asked by the insurer honestly, if you don't and they find out - and information is shared between insurers - they could cancel your policy then you will have difficulty getting anyone else to give you cover.0
