Morning All
Very autumnul this morning, glad I got the grass cut yesterday even though it was drizzling a bit. The garden is looking quite colourful at the moment and the sweet peas have been fantastic this year - picked another bunch yesterday.
Hope your weather stays good TA.
Sounds like you had a busy day taff.
Glad Mr R is on the mend Scarlet.
Really busy at work at the moment, lots of paperwork went out to be signed so lots coming back in! Will have to make a dent in some of it today.
Thinking of you all, sorry my brain isn't working at the moment. Take care. XX11 -
Morning all.The rain may clear up today, I really hope so. Today I'm going to a pool session and then taking things to the tip. There's more liver to have, I really enjoyed it yesterday as I made it into a sort of stroganoff. Onions, mushrooms, a drop of sherry and cream sauce with the fried liver added in. Very tasty. The blooming bull bellowed loudly right outside my front door (in the field) for most of the day. He randomly charges towards the wall then does that pounding at the ground throwing up clods of earth into the air. Meanwhile all the cows ignore him. He started again half an hour ago.I hope that everyone is doing fine. Happy Wednesday to all.11

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.
The bull sounds fierce Gers, though if the girls are ignoring him may be they know he's all noise.
Had an ok day yesterday, Dh is still improving, tired though.
Dd and the young ones came to see us, that was nice, they've been at the cottage for a week and are going back tomorrow.
Not a lot happening today, hope everyone has a good day.
Take care folks.11 -
Morning..she was a bit trigger happy with the scissors yesterday, my hair looks like a shorn sheep. Took the stuff to the fridge, ended up with a dozen eggs, two bags of mushrooms and a celeriac. So I had garlic mushrooms for supper. Spent three hours doing a deep clean of the kitchen. My grill has blown up, I called someone to look at it but when I got on my hands and knees on the floor to look at the tiny product number sticker, I noticed that there was essentially half a cat stuck to the bottom of the oven underneath. Cue brushing, hoovering, cleaning with brillo pads, steam cleaning etc after moving everything out and about. and the glass, tiles, etc. Wasn't too bad, I hadn't long [ well, ok, a few months] cleaned behind the cooker and washing machine. A friend popped round yesterday with a home made loaf, omg, I've eaten half of it already, good job it's quite small. It's single person size but I won't be a single person if I keep eating it...OH is not well, so I got him some drugs when I went out and I'm hoping he doesn't give it to me, it's really nasty. Todays plans are to colate the stuff I want to take, see if a small repair to the car can be done before we go and sort out insurances, travel meony etc. And there's stuff to take to the CS.camelot, yep, I was...but I do not have to deal with schoolchildren who may or may not be well brought up so I count myself lucky Gers, literally, poor cow! Imagine all that strength and power and no one is paying attention to you dp1, they sound lovely the paintings. It's nice to have something to remember someone, especially if you can look at it whatever it was all the time. I'm going to stick my neck out and I reckon the appeal will work. Fingers crossed. Rosy, I love looking at the veg gardens too, I want to learn new things etc, I'm still struglging with making the garden look pretty and useful. Well done for taking a packed lunch bella, congratulations ot your dd on her new job! Scarlet, good ot hear dh is better. Take care all, watch out for shiny balls of brightness in the sky...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi11

Morning everyone and thank you for starting us off nmlc
It looks like being a nice day, but much cooler, which suits me.
Today I have a friend coming for coffee/chat - I haven't seen her for 2/3 weeks so there will be a lot of catching up
Hope you all have a nice Wednesday. xx
PS - Yes, home made bread is too more-ish11 -
Morning folks. The sun was shining most of yesterday but accompanied by a gale force wind. No.pleasure being out in it. Today the wind has gone but so has the sun!! Can't win! May go on another blackberry recce.
The nasty bug doing the rounds has clobbered quite a few people I know too. Seems a nationwide bug.
Have a good day folks take care. I hope the blustery bull calms down Gers. The big field in front of us here is bereft of livestock this visit so nothing for Sparkle to keep under observation!! Be safe everyone xx

Nice bright day here and if it’s like yesterday it will be very warm ! Off to collect Rob today and we are going to see a mermaid 😃 it’s a lady who dresses as a mermaid and swims with children and charities, Rob is not allowed in the pool as he gets bad ear infections but we will sit and watch he will love it 😍
Dinner tonight will be chicken Kiev with chips and peas, I am going shopping on the way home so will re- stock a bit. Have put a wash on this morning so will hang it out before I go to work.
Bella congratulations to your dd on her new job xx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -

It's a vicious circle really. He's very big and very impressive - an Aberdeen Angus bull with a ring through its nose.TA - good to see you posting, sorry about the weather though I hope that you're away from the nasty bug.

Morning everyone
I had a nice catch up with my friend yesterday. It was sunny all day but the wind didn't drop until after tea time so I had a potter in the garden then.
Today I've some jobs to do then I'll go down to mam and dads as we have family visiting for lunch - we haven't seen them since lockdown.
My painter is doing well and should be finished tomorrow.
Redruby - I think I've seen a documentary about women dressing up as mermaids to swim with children - little one would love it - I hope you both enjoy it
DD and little one are having a great time, though she's a bit confused as all the characters have changed - and their costumes aren't as good now. She was telling me on the phone last night - 'I don't know why Bradley Bear isn't here granny.'
Well I'd better get on - I've decided to paint my shed while the painter's ladder is here - I've had the paint since last summer.
Hope everyone has a good day x
