Childrens Savings account

I am looking for a Savings account for my 6 month old grandson who is permanently residing in the USA. Ideally this should be in his name and mature when he reaches 18 years old. So far, my efforts have proved impossible. No Junior ISA or Headstart Accounts appear to be available any more. Can somebody here advise please? Thank you in advance

I suspect given the residency issue you are going to struggle to find a UK based solution.

You will find it difficult if not impossible to open an account in the UK for your US resident grandchild.
Perhaps you could ask the parents to open a "custodial" account for the child which you would fund or perhaps an account specifically designed to help fund college education (529 or ESA account)?
