Just been cold called by representative from Expert Telecom promising savings on landline and broadband over what we pay to Vodaphone. Not keen on doing anything just over the phone. Anyone had any experience with them Looked up reviews etc but still get the feeling that 'it sounds to good to be true'.

Had to laugh at their website where it says they can be cheaper than others due to their SLA's with OpenReach. Which translates to then have none and you will always we at the back of the queue if they need then to get anything resolved.
BT for example have SLA's which cover OpenReach doing work to resolve issues at weekends. You won't get jack from them with this.
The company filings don't give much away either. Too small to really post anything.0 -
There are a few companies that offer ‘savings’ that never materialise and when the consumer chooses to leave they have onerous penalties for leaving ( like 5year minimum terms ) , some ( I seem to recall ) only allow you to leave if you apply to do so on a particular date , miss that ‘window’ of opportunity and you are re contracted….I don’t know about this company that has contacted you but my instinct would be to stay well clear
