Euro car parks parking charge notice

Hi my partner parked in euro car parks island green Wrexham at the end of July
she purchased ticket a ticket with cash .now she has just  received a notice to keeper parking charge £100  or £60 within 14 days 
Unfortunately she no longer has receipt 
Just for your information euro car parks in Wrexham are well known for ticket machine errors digits missing etc .our local MP has contacted them on numerous occasions about this matter

Mr Skates and Wrexham MS Lesley Griffiths have taken up cases for numerous constituents. He claimed: “Many of the fines are being attributed to ‘keying errors’, despite anyone who parks at Island Green being only too familiar with its erratic pay and display machines.

Any advice about contesting this charge notice would be appreciated
A charge of £100 for a stay of 1 hour 8 mins is extortionate

As typing this I just noticed something date of issue is 2 aug  £60 if paid by 16 aug 
It was past this date when she received notice

Get in touch with the two MS and tell them about this case.  They need more evidence.
