We have no pool option... given its done digitally I am not even sure how a pool option would even work as camera/wardens wouldnt know which vehicles are currently on cover or have the hassle of trying to see if you are exceeding the X cars you've paid to be able to park at the same time.sandyring said:As a business owner I am not against paying for a permit, but it's overly complicated and convoluted - I woudl happily pay more for a 'pool permit' which anyone visiting for the business can use rather than being sent a huge long list of permits and even someone hardly ever visiting the business would need to buy a permit.
Residents in our scheme can buy a visitors permit which is a straight forward fee depending if its 1hr, half day or full day. You need the registration plate and to register it in advance. The same doesn't apply to businesses.
If its an occasional visitor it seems like it would be better to find alternative parking or an alternative way for them to get to your premises
Ours was only recently introduced, despite the budget hotel with no parking and a mid tier hotel with very expensive parking it was never troublesome to park as most the developments have sufficient car parking for at least 1 car per dwelling. Unfortunately they are "regenerating" a nearby area with hundreds of new homes and minimal parking so have introduced zoned parking to stop owners of the new builds parking around our area.0
