Leisure Vouchers with No Expiry Dates

While clearing out a drawer I found I had quite a stash of Leisure Vouchers from a previous employer.
They are paper voucher but don't have an expiry date on them. I emailed the address on them and was given a brush off of "They have been removed from circulation. Try contacting Whitbread directly". They didn't have a contact in Whitbread.
Quick dig and I found something from 5 years ago that seemed to imply Leisure Vouchers had transferred to Virgin Incentives so I'll query them and see where I get to.
My question is, if the vouchers have no expiry date, does the scheme holder, whoever that ends up being, have to honour their value?

I understand your point.
Virgin Incentives took over Leisure Vouchers from Whitbread in around 2017 and still operate the scheme under the Leisure Vouchers name.
My understanding is that the paper vouchers started life without expiry dates, evolved to have expiry dates, then moved from individual face value paper vouchers to plastic gift cards.
I accept if they had expired then that would be an end to it but I do wonder if date free vouchers still hold their value.

Bear in mind obligations generally expire after 6 years (in England & Wales) so (as it sounds like you're probably beyond that date) I wouldn't expect anything more than a goodwill gesture.0

Just found the FAQ FAQ | Leisure Vouchers
which states
"My vouchers don't look like the same as those on this website. Are they still valid?
Don't worry, we've recently spruced up the design and logo of our paper vouchers and it sounds like you have some of our older style vouchers – but they're still good to use! Check the Expiry Date printed on the back of the paper vouchers; so long as it's before that date your old-style vouchers will still be accepted. And if you have both old and new style vouchers for any reason, it's fine to pay with a mix of the two.
"
That does reference vouchers having an expiry date though. Probably best to contact them.
