Complain to natwest (how to )

hi
ive closed my NATWEST account, and wish to send a complaint about their obsession with my carbon footprint and politics rather than looking after and making money.
does anyone have an email address or even postal address for them as the website has no info and just redirects you to a chat bot.

regards andy

It’s simpler to complain online.  But of course, we do have other ways to get in touch.

Those contact details are for existing customers, the OP has closed their account.

Although I suspect any complaint will have the same effect regardless.

I'm not convinced that it's realistic to hope for contact details specifically for non-customers, and would be surprised if a postal letter to the customer relations manager at the given address would be ignored on the basis of having closed an account.  Although yes, a generic vent about their policies and practices is likely to receive the same response regardless of whether someone remains a customer or not....

Something tells me the OP isn't backwards in telling people what their politics are!

As a share holder he would have cause for complaint if NatWest was not maximising shareholder value. As a customer or non-customer he has none. NatWest's largest shareholder (the government) seems to be happy.

Doubtful that anyone at NW cares!

About 14 years ago when I switched my account from NW after about 30 years  I later discovered that over the switch period they had neglected to pay out a SO and i missed out on £40 interest due to that non payment.  When I went in to complain they told me that I was no longer a customer so nothing they could do...... of course if I still been a customer they would reimburse me...... Guess their 'helpfulness' will not have improved one jot!

made sure when I did a switching deal a few years ago I recouped more than £40 with formal complaints due to their complete ineptitude. One hand did not know what the other was doing at all.

All I can say is 'don't hold your breath!'
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
