Plenty of free to use cash machines about. I'd say in my town and surrounding area there are more free machines than chargeable ones. You can deposit and withdraw cash from most bank's current accounts at the Post Office too. If you're one of those unfortunate people to have some really obscure bank that does not have Post Office services then just transfer some money over to an account that does. Surely most people have more than one bank account.
Then again that opens up another can of worms about people who don't use phones, apps, or online banking. But why should the rest of us be held back for a few folk hell bent on staying in the past.0 -
The Metro Bank model seems to be to provide a premium in person banking service for those who are willing to pay for it. That does not hold anyone back. You can choose a bank that offers lots of cash sweeteners with a more basic service if you wish.Cashmygiro said:
