When a bank does not support name checking

    Opened a savings account did a £1 transfer, instantly received, transfered large amount Instantly received, days later cannot transfer between Tesco accounts as something to do with receiving something in the post Grrrrr
    As it's a new account it might have something to do with something in the post but as you seem to already have another Tesco account I suspect that it isn't
    If your new account is their Internet Saver be aware that it's quite normal not to be able to make a withdrawal for 3, perhaps 4, working days. I've had 32 of these and every single one has worked like this

    Eventually got the money transferred (a helpfull person at the call center did it for me).  I had put in a complaint about the procedure.  They came back after a few days and agreed it could have been better and worked out how much interest I potentially lost and transferred that to me.

    In short Tesco bank look to be on the ball to me.
