NatWest credit card

Hi,

I applied for a NatWest credit card online yesterday. 

I had an email this morning saying “your credit card will be up and running soon and we will text you to let you know the card is on its way”. 

Does this mean the application process is done and I have been approved? Or is this a general email they send out to all applicants regardless of whether they are approved or not?

All I can say is I got the exact same text but I also received an email with details about my new credit care account, I suppose if it hadn't been successful I wouldn't have received it. Have you had any other correspondence?

I applied and got email with all the pre contract information documents. Then did the identity checks which were ok. Then got email saying they were looking into my application. Then got the email this morning saying my card will be up and running soon. 

Guess I will have to wait, I’m a bit of an impatient person :-)

No. They don't tell people they'll get a card soon if they're not getting a card soon, unless it's sent in error.

Got a text message saying they are making the card and it will be with me in next few days.
