Home Emergency Cover

Hi folks 

appreciate this may not be the right place to post this but it’s my first visit and I’m not sure what category (if any) it falls under 

I’ve woken up this morning to a broken boiler,does anyone know of any Home Emergency Cover I could join that allows me to claim immediately …even if it mean me paying up from for the full year ?

or does anyone know a company with the shortest time possible before I could call them out?

Zero chance I'm afraid as that would mean people would just take our cheap cover instead of repairs 

Like many products, there is usually an exclusion period. 

Have you checked you don't already have it on your home insurance?

A 'fixed price repair' is usually around £300, and will often replace any item even if it's just 'dodgy' and not yet broken.

First, tho' - make, model and age of boiler, please? And what are the symptoms? Completely dead? Any display? Noises?

It’s worth trying local boiler repair companies.  When our boiler failed some years ago, not long after warranty,  we contacted a local company to diagnose the problem (new pcb control panel needed) and they allowed us to join their maintenance plan and have the repair done.  Not sure if it would have been cheaper to buy the pcb ourselves and pay someone to fit it, but we did have the security of a year’s breakdown cover with them.
