Camping woes

My wife has just exchanged the tent!! Presumably with no issue as she wasn't at the shop long.

Thank you for all the replies. I'm not normally a worrier but did feel guilty and very sorry for her miserable day as I was 200 miles away.

All is good now but a wise decision has been made not to put the new tent up with today's incoming storm

Glad it worked out - don’t blame you for worrying! 200 miles is a long way to exchange a tent!

The tent supplier wasn't 200 miles away.

That was actually my first thought.  Either that or part of the manufacturing process to reinforce it.  A lot of good outdoor kit is designed and manufactured to fulfil its purpose rather than necessarily looking good

It was 100% a patch that shouldn't have been there and agreed by the retailer
