Finding subscriptions

I'm regularly caught out by subscriptions turning up on my bank accounts, credit cards, paypal etc where I've signed up for a free trial and it's rolled over.  In addition to being more diligent about these things (!) is there an app anyone can recommend that looks through your accounts to find these? Thank you

I don't think you'll find such an app but it's pretty easy to set a reminder on your phone/tablet/PC/whatever to prompt you to cancel a trial. Alternatively, stop signing up for all the trials!   :D

Most of them let you cancel as soon as you’ve joined up. So for example, with Amazon, I will sign up for prime and then cancel it the next day. The trial still runs for the amount of time you’ve signed up for anyway.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I don't believe that there's anything at the bank end that records which subscriptions/CPAs you have authorised, so no current account that I'm aware of has the facility to review these in a comparable way to how direct debits can be monitored, for example.

There will be Open Banking apps that analyse your past spend and see which subscriptions you've previously paid, but these wouldn't allow you to proactively identify those that might be collected for the first time after a free trial.

Lloyds banking group current accounts have a subscription section in their apps and have my Amazon Prime, magazine subscriptions etc. Everything of mine seems to be pulled through automatically from direct debits, I've not set anything up myself (although the milk deliveries are missing).  Halifax, Lloyds and Bank of Scotland icons look like this:

Do those subscription lists contain anything that isn't a direct debit though?

My understanding is that OP was after something to track continuous payment authorities, which are separate from direct debits and inherently less visible....

I don't think they are direct debits. I thought it (the LBG app) only showed CPA's as 'subscriptions'.

I have several DD's, but they don't show as subscriptions. In fact, I have nothing showing as subscriptions, as I don't have any CPA's.

I did have one magazine sub that was regularly charged to my credit card until I cancelled it. Another active magazine sub isn't showing, presumably because for that one I pay in advance for 4 x quarterly issues so it isn't a continuous payment authority.

Having just double-checked Amazon, it's actually repeatedly charging my debit card, so maybe DDs aren't shown after all? Milk and More also charges my debit card every week but doesn't appear, so as way of listing live subscriptions it's not consistent or really much use I'm afraid.

I have two CPAs on my Lloyds debit card, both are shown as subscriptions. I have one SO and multiple DDs, all of which are shown as such.
