Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Light cloud, sun looks like it will get out later, dry underfoot.
Dinner was pork steaks, mash, veg and gravy.
Work was ok, just half day today also as heating engineer coming out to sort heating controls (isn't a problem at the moment as not using heating but will need it in the winter).
Work should be ok perhaps busy.
Keep safe and well x

Morning all,
Hope your boiler controls get fixed NMLC, and have a nice outing Scarlet.
I had a lovely outing with my friend yesterday, but when I got home I discovered that DDad had been blue lighted to hospital, issues with his heart. We are not sure how long he will be in hospital for. My DH was caring for mum and has done the overnight shift. I will take over from 8am to 2pm, then I will go back and cover 8pm to 8am tomorrow.I will be taking my iPad and crochet up to mum’s with me, so I can keep up with all your news.
Thinking of all those who have worries.
Take care all.

Dry and bright but some clouds on the horizon, could go either way although it's very warm. No rain yesterday so had to water all the pots and baskets outside.
Hope your DDad is ok Peony.
Great your decorating is done Ruby, you sound so pleased with it.
Running a bit late this morning - too much time faffing about again!
Thinking of the poorlies and those struggling, take care. XX9 -

Morning folks.Yesterday was a mixed bag. Physio and pool sessions were both really good. I've got a long list of exercises to do and then worked hard in the pool. Later I spent a lot of time thinking about my late brother whose anniversary of death it was. Somehow it's been 16 years since he suddenly died. We weren't especially close as he had Aspergers so had those traits which prevented emotional closeness but he was still my only sibling. Anyway, he inhabited my thoughts yesterday.Today is promised to be dry and warm, maybe even hot ☀️ so I may even get the grass cut again. My cleaner is coming in the early afternoon so I'll head out when she here.Peony - I hope that there's better news about your DDad. Happy Thursday to all.10

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. We have total cloud cover this morning, I think the weather could go either way! Yesterday was a lovely warm day despite the sun hiding behind a lot of cloud most of the time.
We had a lovely day out but our lunch was rather noisy! Our usual hostelry was showing the England game and it was packed with a lot of vocal supporters cheering them on! They all dispersed once the game finished so we were able to chat in peace!
I got home to a delivery which had been left in my "safe place". Sparkle's new diabetic biscuits. I tried her with them straightaway, fully expecting her to turn her nose up at them but, no, she wolfed them down. So the second hurdle will be to see how she reacts to diabetic wet food when I get the delivery of that!
Today's delivery is a new microwave. My current one is still working ok but the coating inside is flaking off badly and it looks a right mess. I'm not sure how safe that makes it. To err on the side of caution I am getting rid of it. I hope I don't need a degree in electronics to suss out how to use the new one it!
Grounded today so a spot of cleaning to ease the load of the Friday Tidy is on the agenda. Such excitement!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need of them. PEONY life is tough caring for elderly parents, take care of you too. xx

Morning all
Nice day here again before the rain / storms come to us tomorrow, I am off to collect Rob and take him to work I will need to pop into Mr T on the way home for a few bits I could not get yesterday.
Not sure about dinner tonight, DD is working late shift so just OH and I here, I will go and rummage in the freezer after this. I have put a wash load on this morning which I will hang out before I go to work.
Peony I was sorry to hear about your dad hopefully he will make a quick recovery xxx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Hi everyone,
Peony I hope you get good news about your dad today.
I'm feeling quite lazy today so I've had my breakfast in bed. I don't want to waste the day though so I shall get up soon.
Marie, my thoughts are with you.
Coxy and with you, I know you must be very worried.
I know I will have missed people who aren't feeling well or are worried or celebrating something so I'll just say have as good a.day as you can.10 -
Another brief post from me as I have to be out soon for a dental appointment. My temporary filling came away as soon as we went on holiday so I need to get that sorted before tomorrow, as we're off again to Whitby Folk Week.
It's been a busy few days and now the cleaners have messaged to say they will come tomorrow, instead of today, so I've had to cancel as we won't be here! That actually gives us more time today to get ready plus I'll fit in a bit of cleaning.
Peony, so sorry to hear about your father and hope he makes a good recovery.
Look after yourselves everyone.10 -
Morning all its grey out today but i have a load whirring away in the machine as its forecast to be dry .
