Get ProtonVPN. It's based in Switzerland, a country that takes privacy very seriously (not a 5/9/14 Eyes country).

You can have your data bounce through their own servers in either Iceland, Sweden or Switzerland before going to your target country, meaning it will be extra secure.

If you pay in USD, you'll get a two year plan for £95.19, a saving of a tenner when you exclude bank/credit card charges (you'll have to pay them anyway).

Proton is the same company that makes ProtonMail, the famous for its privacy-focused email platform.

Don't bother paying for any of their other services. They're not really worth it (unless you already use them).
