Debt Recovery Plus - Scotland Parking Ticket

Hi there,
I took the advice of ignoring the letters coming through threatening me with the charge if i don't pay within x amount of time it will go up, now that I've ignored it I've got a letter through from debt recovery plus saying I need to pay £140 today or pay £35 over 4 months.
What do I do?

DO NOTHING EXCEPT A LANDOWNER COMPLAINT.
Obviously no-one pays DR PLUS but you'll know this from reading NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST at the top of this forum... the 4th post covers laughing at DRP!
And -A favour please:
Don't suppose you can get any good car park photos from your area, I'm building up quite a collection but only one person has posted pics from Scotland:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6463361/dluhc-private-parking-code-government-launches-call-for-evidence-discussion-thread/p19
Photos please! From friends & family too!
... we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the private parking draft Impact Assessment by mid-September?
Did you see that they did announce something 2 weeks ago and we are wanting to respond?Let me do a single submission containing YOUR photo evidence please... You want to help us change the law?
It's a final push on a law already passed, to cap the £PCN levels and ban the fake DRA fees. The Government has a Call for Evidence open right now.
IT APPLIES TO SCOTLAND TOO.
We are wanting photos of unmanaged car parks, Hospital car park signs near you that show £50 or £60 as the deterrent, and Aldi, Asda, Tesco or Sainsburys £70 signs please.
All discussed here:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6463361/dluhc-private-parking-code-government-launches-call-for-evidence-discussion-thread/p6
We need photo evidence of low or no deterrent car parks near you, please!
Think of this when out for a walk or driving to any business, retail (or even an area of 'no parking' spaces) that is 'unmanaged' or has PCN signs of £70 or lower.
NOT £100, NOT £90 or £80. Just signs that are less - or places with no PPC. You will see examples of what to post, in the latest pages of that thread.
Thankyou!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You don't do anything. DRP are just scummy little debt collectors with no skin in the game except to try and make you poop your pants and pay the extortion. You ignore all debt collectors.
If you've had no communication with the PPC, you could email them as the RK and say:As the Registered Keeper, you cannot transfer liability for the PCN as neither PoFA nor Keeper liability applies in Scotland. So, you are now advised to call off your useless DRP monkeys and go chase the driver.
Any further contact from your agent, DRP will be considered as harassment and may be dealt with accordingly. You are also ordered to delete my personal data from your systems and I require confirmation that you have done so within 14 days of this email. Failure to do so will lead to an ICO complaint and I reserve the right to sue you under Article 12 of the UK GDPR and Section 168 of the Data Protection Act 2018.
If you are unsure what the above means, I suggest you pass this correspondence on to your legal advisors.1 -
