Asking my solicitor to exchange and compete with outstanding enquiries

I was hoping to exchange this week and complete next Friday 25th. I have 3 outstanding enquiries on my purchase regarding land management company (newish build 5yo) and the council. These enquiries were asked 4 weeks ago and have been chases weekly with no update. Can I force my solicitor to exchange contract and proceed to complete?? , I am sure there is no issue with the council or land management company and this is going to cause me to miss my desired completion date.

Do you understand what the enquiries are about? Saying they're "about the land management company and the council" doesn't really help us!

If you're a cash buyer then it's entirely up to you. If the answers to the enquiries might affect any mortgage you're buying with, your solicitor might not be prepared to sign it off for the lender without satisfactory responses to the enquiries.

That's your answer then. The Lender will not release the funds until everything is in place.

Ok, so while in theory you can exchange, you’d then risk not having any money from the lender on the completion date. Could be expensive for you.
